Moira Dela Torre stirred buzz on social media after netizens reacted to a sweet photo of her with a male companion in Alberta, Canada.
The singer-songwriter on Wednesday took to Facebook to share snaps from her during a trip to the Banff National Park with a group of friends.
Included in the photo set was a photo showing the backs of Moira and a “mystery guy” in an embrace with the snowy mountains in the view.
Netizens were quick to form speculations about the Eme singer’s love life.
The said photo gained the most traction with more than 50,000 reactions and over 2,000 comments as of writing.
“Luh bat may kayakap na yan?,” said a Facebook user.
“Wag mo kami ipa-overthink mieee,” another commented.
A netizen also wrote, “I need an explanation Moira!”
The tittle-tattle then prompted Moira to clarify that the one she was with in the photo was her handler, Mac Merla of Cornerstone Entertainment talent management company.
“Kumalma po kayo. [M]anager ko po yan. [P]areho po kami ng type,” stated Moira.
Moira tagged her manager in her Instagram story and said of their photo: “I will never forget this moment with you sir @macmerla (white heart emoji).”
This is the not the first time that Mac got dragged into “malicious rumors” related to Moira as netizens previously linked him to Moira’s ex-husband Jason Hernandez just because they were pictured together on a plane ride.
