Family members of Cherie Gil have gathered to remember the late actress.
Michael de Mesa, brother of Cherie took to Instagram on Friday to share a photo of the Eigenmann clan reuniting almost a month after the late actress’ death.
Spotted in the photo were Cherie’s celebrity nieces Max and Andi Eigenmann, nephews Geoff and Gabby Eigenmann and Sid Lucero, among others.
Also present were Cherie’s husband Rogoff and their children Raphael and Bianca.
“I know you were with us—smiling, crying, and laughing at the beautiful memories we shared of you with each other. We miss you so much!,” wrote Michael whose real name is Michael Edward Eigenmann.
“But in our grief, we smile knowing that you are hugging Ralph again. We love you, Cherie!,” the former Ang Probinsyano star said while referring to their late brother, actor Mark Gil who passed away in September 1, 2014.
Michael also shared a portrait of Cherie with her urn and a glass and bottle of wine beside it.
Actress Max Eigenmann, meanwhile, also shared the family pic reunion on her Instagram page, as she called it a “bittersweet” moment for the family.
“The day our family got together to welcome Tita Cherie home and celebrate Dad’s 8th year in Heaven.
“Bittersweet indeed,” wrote Max.
She added, “I love you guys so much! Thank you, Dad for dropping by and Thank you, Tita Cherie for bringing ALL of us together.
“I know you guys were listening to all of us talk about you,”
