Joel Mondina, more popularly known as “Pambansang Kolokoy,” posted a cryptic message about having true friends, days after confirming he and his wife have separated after 20 years of marriage.
In an Instagram post on Saturday, Joel shared a photo of himself with the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, California in view.
“Now I know who my true friends are. Keep in mind this is just temporary, but not me, WHO showed kindness from your back and to your faces, from your head to your toe,” the YouTube vlogger said as caption.
While it wasn’t clear who Joel was alluding to, fellow YouTuber Wil Dasovich was spotted saying in the comments section: “Stay up my guy we gotchu!”
Joel’s post came days after announcing in a YouTube vlog released on August 28, that he and Marites have already called it quits.
The social media personality’s confirmation saddened fans who had first noticed Marites’ absence in his YouTube vlogs for the past few months.
Pambansang Kolokoy was also known for his fun and funny videos involving his wife.
Despite their split, Joel shared that he and Marites have stayed in communication for the sake of their kids.
Joel also revealed that he now has someone new in his life and that they are “so happy together.”
