After her husband and eldest daughter recovered from COVID-19, Pia Guanio and her youngest contracted the disease.
The TV host in an Instagram post last January 12 revealed that her husband Steeve Mago and eldest child Scarlet were in isolation after testing positive for COVID-19.
Pia was thankful enough that the father and daughter were just experiencing mild symptoms.
“My husband @steevemago and daughter @iamscarletmago are both isolating after testing positive for Covid-19. Because of God’s grace and great love, both of them are experiencing very mild symptoms and are in good spirits,” wrote Pia on Instagram.
“Thank you LORD! We miss them badly but we are grateful they are healing and recovering well,” she added.
“Graduate na soon please,” Pia told Steeve and Scarlet in a video she uploaded where she checked in on how they were doing while in isolation.
But a week after, Pia related in an Instagram post on Wednesday that she and her youngest, Brooklyn, have also been infected with the virus a day after her husband and Scarlet recovered.
“Together in sickness and in health,” Pia wrote in the caption alongside their selfie family pic.
“A day after @steevemago and @iamscarletmago got cleared for Covid, my youngest and I tested positive ?. But praise God that we are having it easy! And we got the best nurses who already know what to do to care for us,” added Pia.
