Former beauty queen Laura Lehmann was happy to announce that she and San Miguel guard Von Pessumal tied the knot earlier this year.
On Instagram, the Miss World Philippines 2017 shared that the day they got “quietly married” was the best day of her life.
“And now, I want to spend the rest of my life making you as happy as you make me,” she wrote in the caption.
“This was the best day of my life & I will elope with you any time, any place… even in a small room behind city hall,” she said.
Meanwhile, Von shared the same set of photos and wrote about how he married his best friend.
He also mentioned that they decided to keep it to themselves for some time because to them, marriage wasn’t a drastic lifestyle change.
“Having you in my life has been nothing short of perfection. It’s honestly like playing with a great point guard; if I do my job well I know my team will win,” he wrote.
