Sheryl Cruz takes a huge pride in her daughter Ashley who is set to graduate as a summa cum laude this month.
The proud celebrity mom recently shared in an Instagram post that her daughter’s achievement is the “best Mother’s Day gift I’ve ever had”.
“So proud and blessed to have you anak,” wrote the Kapuso actress in a hashtag.
According to a GMA network report, Sheryl is preparing for the big day of her daughter with ex-husband Norman Bustos, who’s graduating with a Psychology degree from San Francisco State University in California, USA.
“Sa araw ng birthday niya, doon siya pararangalan so l’m very excited for her and I’m very proud of her because efforts niya lahat ito,” Sheryl was quoted as saying in the report.
She added, “Kalahati lang ako na nagbigay ng shares sa kung ano man ang meron siya ngayon and kalahati no’n sa family naman ng tatay niya so l’m very proud of her and very grateful kasi kahit na malayo kami sa isa’t isa, hindi nasayan yung effort.”
