Rico Blanco showed appreciation to his well-wishers as he recently marked his 50th birthday.
The OPM icon and former Rivermaya frontman took to Instagram to share a series of clips and photos as he expressed gratitude for the love he received on his special day.
“Thanks for all the greetings!,” wrote Rico as caption in an Instagram post that featured his recent music gigs including the fundraising concert for Parkoya ni Edgar guitarist Gab Chee Kee and an open jam party.
He continued, “Thanks also to everyone who came out to support the fundraiser for my dear friend Gab Chee Kee at @balconymusichouse. We were able to raise 95K to help w gabs medical bills. ??? shoutout to @ricolokoys they raised 17k by selling rb lightsticks”.
“Love and kisses to all of you. i am so grateful,” he added in the same Instagram post that included a photo with his girlfriend Maris Racal.
The 25-year-old actress-singer earlier shared a compilation of clips showing her and Rico’s sweet moments together to celebrate the musician’s birthday.
“Happy birthday my love,” wrote Maris.
The couple went public with their romance in 2021.
