McCoy De Leon’s father Mark de Leon has extended apologies amid the controversy over his son’s breakup with ex-partner Elisse Joson.
Through his Showbiz Update Youtube channel, comedian and talent manager Ogie Diaz shared that he reached out to McCoy’s dad, whom he considers a good friend, about the issue his son is facing.
“Sabi ni Mark, ‘Pasensya na boss Ogs, sa ngayon hindi po ako makakapagsalita’,” Ogie quoted Mark as saying in a text message.
“Hiyang-hiya ako sa nangyari, pasensiya na po,” McCoy’s dad added.
Rumors are rife that a third party was the reason behind McCoy and Elisse’ breakup, after the actor was spotted getting cozy with TikTok personality Mary Joy Santiago in a photo that made rounds online.
McCoy, however, denied having affair allegations in an Instagram story saying, “Sadyang dumating lang po sa point na sobrang bigat lang ng problema kaya po ako sumuko”.
The actor also offered his apologies to the public after sharing a now-deleted open letter dedicated to Felize, his daughter with Elisse, on Instagram.
