Carla Abellana has opened up about how she’s doing months after failed marriage with husband Tom Rodriguez.
The Kapuso star, in an interview with 24 Oras’ Nelson Canlas, disclosed that she’s still “definitely in pain” and is going through the long process after what happened between her and Tom.
“Pain kasi doesn’t disappear overnight. Gustuhin mo mang mawala na ‘yung pain, it’s in a way something you can’t control. I recognize it enough na nandyan pa, ayoko namang sabihing wala, kasi hindi din totoo ‘yun,” she said.
Carla, who last saw Tom last February, admitted she’s not ready yet to face Tom if ever the actor reaches out to her. “At this point parang hindi ko kakayanin. If ever he calls, hindi ko kakayaning kausapin siya,” she said.
The actress also answered if she still has love for her former partner.
“Di ko masasagot na yes or no. Like I said ‘yung love naman, hindi siya nag-di-disappear or hindi mo nababawasan ng kusa,” she said.
Carla furthered that their divorce has not sunk in yet, but is grateful of her family and friends for being her support group while she’s going throug the ordeal.
Tom first confirmed his and Carla’s divorce last June, as he revealed leaving the Philippines for the United States in March.
