Jolina Magdangal can’t help but feel “kilig”’ after netizens pointed out her “resemblance” to Blackpink’s Jisoo in this particular look of the K-pop superstar.
During Day 2 of the South Korean girl group’s Born Pink tour in Atlanta, USA, Jisoo sported a look, which made Pinoy fans reminisce of Jolina in the ‘90s.
Jolina, at the time, was regarded as a trendsetter for her iconic fashion and hairstyle such as bangs and butterfly or colorful hair clips.
On Twitter, a netizen shared a photo of Jisoo with her bangs and pigtail buns side by side with a throwback photo of Jolina’s similar look.
“That’s why Jisoo’s hairstyle seems familiar… i suddenly remembered Jolina Magdangal [because] of her look today,” wrote the netizen in the viral tweet.
The said tweet reached Jolina who even reposted an edited video of the Blackpink member dancing to the actress-singer’s hit song Chu Choo Choo.
“Kinilig ako dito!!! (laughing emojis) Salamat @intocls sa twitter. @sooyaaa__ maraming salamat sa pag cover.. Charowt,” Jolina wrote in jest.
Jolina, who is currently a Magandang Buhay co-host, celebrated her 44th birthday last Sunday, Nov. 6.
