Heaven Peralejo had netizens feeling “gigil” when she posted this TikTok video with veteran leading man Ian Veneracion.
Heaven and Ian are co-stars in upcoming horror-thriller and social commentary film Nanahimik ang Gabi which is an official entry to the 2022 Metro Manila Film Festival.
As part of their film promotion, Heaven shared a video of her doing a TikTok trend, featuring the actor.
In the video, the actress lip synched to the tune of Gangster’s Wife before she went eye to eye with Ian who gave her a kiss on the forehead.
As of writing, the said video has garnered 7.5 million views and more than 700,000 likes on the platform, with netizens leaving hilarious reactions, mostly addressed to Heaven.
“Past time talaga ni Heaven painitin ulo ko,” a netizen said in jest.
Another one also joked, “Beh kasal pa kami niyan.”
“Heaven alam mo sumosobra ka na,” said another.
Others meanwhile, took notice of the two’s “chemistry” despite their age gap: Heaven is 22 years old, while Ian is 47 years old.
Heaven, who will play as Ian’s “sugar baby” in the upcoming film, admitted in a press conference that she found it hard to execute the role.
“Nahirapan ako sa character na ‘to kasi, wala akong paghuhugutan,” she said.
Asked if she was scared of falling for Ian, Heaven responded: “Hindi naman. Kasi, kailangan ko talagang ma-in love eh.”
“Totoo yun, we have to fall in love with each other. And… it’s not naman mahirap. Pero mahirap lang siyang mahalin as Chief,” Heaven said of Ian’s abusive cop and “sugar daddy” character in the film.
“‘Pag nakikita ko na yung pagiging Chief niya, lumalabas na yung (yes, dark side), yun (yung) dynamics namin,” she added.
