Ricci Rivero is not denying that he’s very much in love with months-long girlfriend Andrea Brillantes.
The athlete-actor recently went into details about his much talked about public proposal when he asked Andrea to be his girlfriend after the UAAP basketball game, during an interview on TV host Boy Abunda’s YouTube channel.
“Para siyang baril, na nakakasa siya pero nakatago. Anytime pwede ko siyang gawin pero hindi ko alam kung kaya ko siyang gawin. Hindi kasi ako talaga ‘yung ganun, first time ko lang din mag-girlfriend in public,” Ricci said about his proposal for Andrea.
“Siguro sa akin, ‘yung gusto ko lang ding mapa-feel dun sa tao na proud ka,” Ricci shared as to why he decided to go public with his relationship with the Kapamilya actress.
“You must be so in love with her,” Abunda told Ricci.
“Opo Tito Boy, ” Ricci responded, smiling.
Ricci admitted having mixed emotions when he pulled off the surprise for Andrea after the UP Fighting Maroons basketball team’s win at the Mall of Asia Arena.
“Grabe ‘yung kaba and ‘yung excitement and all, pero ang nangingibabaw lang talaga is buo na ‘yung loob ko na gagawin ko siya no matter what,” he said.
Ricci, who met Andrea through a common friend, revealed he and the latter were talking for months before they made their relationship official.
“Minsan mafi-feel mo yung gusto mo ‘yung tao, pero minsan alam mo yung ito parang sure ka, ‘yung ganun. Iba lang talaga siguro ‘yung na-feel namin,” said Ricci on why he pursued the actress.
“Is Andrea Brillantes the one?” Abunda asked Ricci.
“I think Tito Boy, yes,” responded Ricci.
