Carlo Aquino and former partner Trina Candaza have reunited to celebrate their daughter Mithi’s second birthday.
The ex-couple were spotted being hands-on with Mithi as seen in the Instagram stories of guests who attended the birthday bash, which Trina shared on her own IG account.
Carlo and Trina also posed for a photo together with their daughter in an Instagram post shared by event photographer NicePrint Photography founder Charisse Tinio.
Tinio also shared a clip and photo of Carlo bonding with her daughter on the inflatable slide setup.
More snaps of Carlo and Trina with Mithi were shared by custom wedding cake shop @honeyglazecakes on Instagram.
Speculations about Carlo and Trina’s split emerged in January this year, following the latter’s cryptic posts about relationship on social media.
Carlo later confirmed in April that he and Trina indeed called it quits, maintaining that they are civil and on a co-parenting setup for their daughter.
Trina, meanwhile, opened up about her thoughts on possible reconciliation with Carlo at the time, saying, “Mahirap na po magkabalikan lalo na kung yung mga taong nakapaligid support sa pagiging single ng tao na para bang walang batang nawalan ng buong pamilya.”
The two became a couple in 2019, and welcomed their baby, Enola Mithi, in 2020.
