Gerald Anderson was spotted having a good time with Julia Barretto and her family amid rumors that they have called it quits.
Julia’s mom Marjorie Barretto took to Instagram to share a family photo of her and the actress joined by her other children Dani, Leon, Claudia, and Erich, and Gerald in a dinner over the weekend.
“My real friends are my children. Best people ever!,” Marjorie wrote in the caption alongside a heart emoji.
A photo of Julia and Gerald having a double date with ex-PBB housemate Joe Vargas and his wife Bianca Yanga was also shared by a Japanese restaurant on Monday, September 5.
Fans were relieved to see the recent sightings of the couple amid speculations that their relationship is on the rocks.
Meanwhile, without directly addressing the breakup rumors, Julia earlier revealed why she learned to be protective of her relationship and personal life.
“I’ve always been very private, well just recently, with my personal life. I think with everything that has happened before, I’ve learned to be protective of my personal life,” Julia said in a press conference for upcoming film Expensive Candy.
She added, “So, I’d like to keep that as private as much as possible and just drawing that boundary between work and my personal life.”
