Chie Filomeno is heartbroken over the loss of her beloved dog which happened on the International Dog Day.
The Kapamilya star took to Instagram on Friday to mourn the death of her pet dog, a golden retriever, whom she fondly calls Mattyboo.
“I didn’t know angels came with four paws till I met you Mattyboo, thank you for completing our home and thank you for completing me,” Chie wrote alongside some photos and clips of her with Matty.
The actress went on to recall how Matty would understand her emotions and served as her happy pill.
“Si Matty kahit hindi ako umiyak alam niya kapag malungkot ako at alam niya paano ako pasayahin kahit matampuhin siya kasi madalas ako wala sa bahay but he still never fails to put a smile on my face,” Chie related.
“Wala ng mangungulit at uutusan ako kunin yung bola niya. You’re so strong Matty, inantay mo pa din birthday ko ?,” added Chie who recently celebrated her birthday last August 16.
Chie also took to Instagram stories to share a glimpse of Matty in his casket, as well as throwback memories of them together.
“Grabe no words can describe how painful it is to lose you but I know you’re no longer in pain now. Mahal na mahal kita Matmat. Run free ??,” said an emotional Chie.
