Award-winning actor John Arcilla revealed his dreams of still building a family despite his age.
The 56-year-old related that he wants to have a family of his own.
“Kayang-kaya pa naman. Kayang-kaya pa talaga,” John was quoted as saying in a YouTube interview with comedian and talent manager Ogie Diaz.
Although he admitted to having second thoughts about it, due to several factors, John is willing to give it a go.
“Sa dami ng responsibilidad mo ngayon, parang natatakot ka na.
“Tsaka sa age bracket ko, parang nagdadalawang-isip na rin ako, although gusto ko pa rin. Walang problema. Hindi naman ako baog eh,” said John.
The multi-awarded star also recalled the time when he almost started family with his past two relationships.
“Hindi ako pinalad na [magka-baby] pero almost nandoon na. Nagkaroon sila ng desisyon na hindi ko kayang kontrolin.
Tapos, meron pang isa ulit na non-showbiz. Siguro may ibang plano sa akin ang Diyos,” said John.
The actor, meanwhile, had this to say about the status of his heart: “Masaya ako [dahil] ang daming mga blessings, ang daming accolades, ang daming recognitions. Maraming challenges pero alam ko na siyang i-hurdle,”
At the moment, John said he is focused on the welfare of his nieces and grandchildren.
