Smokey Manaloto has welcomed his first child with his non-showbiz partner.
The actor-comedian recently took to TikTok to share his big announcement of becoming a father for the very first time, at 55 years old.
“Sabi nila, ‘Wala ka nang pag-asa. Sabi nila, ‘Huli ka na sa biyahe!’ Akala ko huli na, hindi pa pala. Eto na yung something big na nangyari sa ‘kin!,” said Smokey as an introduction in his TikTok video that showed a glimpse of his fatherhood journey.
The more than three minute video featured clips from the moment they found out they were expecting in December 2021, up to the day they welcomed their child, a baby boy, last August 4, 2022.
“Ladies and gentlemen, we would like you to meet our ‘Kiko’ Manaloto,” said Smokey in the video which is also his first TikTok entry.
Smokey is also visibly enjoying his role as a dad as seen on other clips of him cradling and looking dearly at his son.
In a separate TikTok post, Smokey shared a video of him watching Kathniel starrer 2 Good 2 be True where plays the role of driver Badong.
Smokey had to temporarily leave the show to focus and give time to his family.
