Annabelle Rama recently named-dropped the one keeping her daughter Ruffa Gutierrez glued to her phone.
Ruffa was recently joined by mom and brother Raymond as guest judges on It’s Showtime’s Sexy Babe segment.
When asked by host Vice Ganda asked on her thoughts about Ruffa’s judging ability, Anabelle said, “Sometimes, parang wala sa sarili.”
Co-host Ogie Alcasid followed up with the question: “Bakit kaya wala siya sa sarili?”
“Baka busy sa cellphone,” responded Annabelle, while eventually revealing actor and former Quezon City mayor politician Herbert Bautista’s name.
“Sino pa nga ba? Sino pa Ruffa? Kaibigan mo! Si Herbert,” Annabelle said frankly to the surprise of Ruffa and the hosts.
“Ma, you’re so… Nakakaloka ka, Ma,” said Ruffa laughingly.
At a later part, Annabelle revealed that Herbert is close to her husband Eddie Gutierrez.
“Naging close talaga sila ni Eddie dahil sa taping. Mabait naman daw sabi ni Eddie,” said Annabelle.
Ruffa and Herbert have been romantically linked since last year. The two were co-stars in the KathNiel series The House Arrest of Us in 2020.
