Park Shin Hye has given birth to her first child with husband Choi Tae Joon.
The Hallyu star couple welcomed their baby boy on Tuesday, May 31, as announced by Shin Hye’s label SALT Entertainment.
“We are sharing news that actress Park Shin Hye gave birth to a healthy baby boy at a hospital in Seoul today (May 31).
“Actress Park Shin Hye and her child are in good health, and she is resting with the blessings of her husband, actor Choi Tae Joon, and her acquaintances,” the management was quoted as saying in a report by South Korean entertainment and pop culture website Soompi.
SALT Entertainment also expressed thanks to those who sent their well wishes to the couple.
Shin Hye and Tae Joon, who have been together since 2017, tied the knot in a private ceremony in Seoul last January 22.
The couple first announced their engagement and baby news November last year.
Shin Hye is known for her roles in the K-dramas The Heirs, Doctors, Pinocchio, among others, while Tae Joon appeared in Exit, So I Married an Anti-fan, and Suspicious Partner.
