Actress-host Donita Rose has finally introduced her special someone to the public.
She first hinted at her newfound love on March 27 with a selfie pic of her with a mystery guy peeking from behind.
“I think it’s safe to say I’m seeing someone…,” wrote Donita as caption in an Instagram post.
The celeb, who is US-based once again, posted a pic with the mystery guy as her “plus one” at the Los Angeles Fashion Week, keeping his identity still a secret.
On Wednesday, Donita eventually went Instagram official with her new boyfriend, musical artist Felson Palad, by posting sweet snaps of them together.
“After my last post yesterday, this guy called to say he posted these photos. When I saw them, I laughed so hard and asked, ‘Why this as an introduction photo’? His response: ‘Para habang tumatagal pumopogi ako.’ (So as time goes by, I’ll become more handsome.’ I almost died laughing. That’s @felsonpalad for you peeps,” wrote Donita in the snaps of them together featuring one with her beau’s goofy pose.
Donita’s last known relationship was with former husband Eric Villarama whom she got divorced from in 2016 after cheating rumors. They have a son named JP.
In a Magandang Buhay 2018 interview, she revealed that she discovered her ex-husband was “cheating” on her through a phone call.
“Valentine’s day yun. That was three years ago… That was Valentine’s Day, hindi siya tumawag. So, sabi ko, that’s strange, baka nakalimutan lang niya. Tapos, noong (February) 15 na hindi pa rin siya tumawag, tumawag ako. And then, hindi siya sumasagot ng phone, then kinabahan na ako. Then, I felt na God was already telling me there’s somebody else na.”
She recalled confronting her husband if he was with another woman to which her husband admitted.
“Parang may dating sa akin na parang may iba kang kasama ngayon. Parang siguro nagulat na lang siya at umamin bigla sa akin. Nagulat ako. I was not expecting it. Like, the only time I ever felt it na baka mayroon na talaga was the day before. So, there’s not enough time for me to process na what he was saying, na sinabi na niya yung pangalan ng babae.”
They tried saving their marriage after that through counselling but to no avail.
Donita migrated back to the US in 2020 with her son to “establish myself and look for a job.” She currently serves as a corporate research and development chef in the US.
