Herlene Budol apologized after netizens called her out for stealing a kiss from Alden Richards.
In a recent post on TikTok, Herlene shared a video where she gushed over the Kapuso actor and planted a kiss on his cheek.
Herlene tried to go in for another kiss on Alden’s cheek but failed and backhugged the actor instead.
“Parang Manika si alden walang lait pogi,” Herlene wrote as caption alongside a heart emoji.
This, however didn’t sit well with netizens, some pointing out that Alden seemed “uncomfortable” and “awkward” with the comedienne-actress’ gesture.
In the comments sections, Herlene said sorry to those who were offended by her actions saying that she apologized to Alden afterwards.
“Sorry po sa mga nailang para kay Alden nag
sorry po ako after at nag paalam din,” wrote Herlene.
The video has garnered more than five million views as of writing.
