Miss Universe Philippines 2016 Maxine Medina is now engaged to her longtime boyfriend.
The beauty-queen-turned actress took to Instagram on Monday to announce that she’s getting married to non-showbiz partner, professional diver Timmy Llana.
In what appeared to be an advanced birthday celebration of Maxine, Timmy surprised her with a marriage proposal.
“Finally my forever ? @timmyllana,” Maxine wrote as caption alongside snaps of her engagement ring and moments from the sweet proposal that took place at Club Paradise Palawan.
“This is the start of my ALWAYS. @timmyllana I LOVE YOU,” said Maxine in a separate Instagram post showing her getting emotional after Timmy popped the question.
Last December, Maxine received a promise ring from her beau. The couple marked their third anniversary in June.
