Internet personality and self-proclaimed Pambansang Marites Xian Gaza had this reaction after reports of Erich Gonzales getting married to longtime non-showbiz boyfriend Mateo Lorenzo broke out on Wednesday.
A photo taken at the intimate wedding ceremony of Erich and Mateo made rounds online after a relative of the latter uploaded it via Instagram story but deleted shortly after.
The couple were earlier reported to wed on Wednesday, March 23, at the St. James the Great Parish in Ayala Alabang after wedding banns of them were spotted last February.
Reacting to the news, Xian took to Facebook to congratulate his celebrity crush on her wedding.
“Erich Gonzales congratulations! I’m happy for you! brb punasan ko lang luha,” said Xian, while sharing a photo of his “crying” face in the comments section.
To recall, Xian first made headlines after asking Erich out on a coffee date via a billboard ad in Manila but was turned down by the actress.
“I can’t even espresso how much I like you a latte. Will you drink coffee with me?” read the message on the billboard.
In July 2021, Xian shared a video of Erich greeting him a “happy birthday” as requested by his then girlfriend.
