Marie Lozano received the dreamiest marriage proposal from her wildlife photojournalist boyfriend Aaron Gekoski in Zimbabwe. The TV personality shared that their trip to Africa was kickstarted by her boyfriend’s big question.
“This was a proposal beyond my wildest imagination. It happened in the most magical first day, out here in Zimbabwe: up close and personal with rhinos in the morning, followed by sunset over Matobo Hills UNESCO World Heritage Site,” she wrote on a social media post.
In the snaps she shared, her beau knelt on one knee as he presented her the ring.
“I adore you, I love you and I would love to be your wife,” she addressed her soon-to-be husband.
Meanwhile, on Aaron’s own Instagram, he shared more photos from their special day.
He wrote: “When two journalists get engaged, it’s important to cover the event from all angles.
“Couldn’t have wished for a more magical day, out here in Zimbabwe: up close and personal with rhinos in the morning, followed by sunset over Matobo Hills UNESCO World Heritage Site.”
On the lifestyle journalist’s Instagram stories, she thanked her supporters for all the love they sent and shared that they will be off the grid soon as they will explore Hwange in Zimbabwe.
