It seems that Kathryn Bernardo has dismissed rumors linking long-time boyfriend Daniel Padilla and Barbie Imperial.
Amid controversial social media personality Xian Gaza’s Facebook posts about Daniel making online rounds on Thursday, former beauty queen MJ Lastimosa shared a screenshot of a part of a text message she received from Kathryn.
“Kabogera yun asa trending topic ha!!!! ooops na post ~,” MJ captioned the screenshot.
Xian, along with the hashtag #HuwagAngKathniel, made it to Twitter’s top trending topics on Thursday after KathNiel fans lambasted the former for insinuating that there is something going on between Daniel and Barbie.
While it was unclear what MJ and Kathryn were messaging about, fans were assured that all is well between their idols.
“Hahahaha gagii alagang ford po opo,” laughingly wrote Kathryn in her conversation with MJ, referring to her boyfriend whose real name is Daniel John Ford Padilla.
Daniel, who has been in a relationship with Kathryn for eight years now, has earlier told fans to disregard the speculation being spread by Gaza, calling it “nonsense and irrelevant”.
