Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Beatrice Gomez and DJ Kate Jagdon have called it quits.
Kate, through an Instagram story on Tuesday, confirmed that she and Bea have separated ways after more than six years of being in a relationship.
“These past few weeks have been the most difficult time of my personal life. It was a conscious decision to keep quiet, after all this is a personal matter and I chose my privacy above everything else,” she wrote.
“Bea and I have parted ways. I am simply taking this step to move forward and go on with my life. Nothing more,” she added.
The performance DJ and entrepreneur said she had to address the issue “before rumours and falsifications get out of hand”.
Kate then thanked her family and friends for giving her support amid “this difficult time and on her “road to healing”.
She, nevertheless, also wished Bea “the best of luck in her journey”.
Bea first introduced Kate to the public as her girlfriend during the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Interview Challenge last August 30.
The two have been open to the public about their relationship on their respective social media accounts. Their Instagram posts together, however, currently appears to have been taken down.
