Filipino boy group SB19 continues to gain recognition abroad as this singing American family just did an impressive cover of their original song.
On Friday, The Torch Family Music uploaded on their YouTube channel their own rendition of SB19’s hit ballad song Mapa which has gone viral online.
The music video featured the Americans siblings taking their parents to a picnic as well shots of them taking turns in singing the Tagalog song.
Their viral cover video was reuploaded by netizens on social media and has since garnered over a million combined views on Facebook and TikTok.
“Thank you SB19 for this touching song about fathers and mothers. We love our parents and are so excited to sing this song,” wrote the group on their YouTube video’s description box.
This is actually not the first time the group did a cover of an SB19 song.
They have also previously made their own version of the P-pop group’s Ikako and Go Up.
Trained under ShowBT Philippines, SB19, consisting of Josh, Justin, Ken, Pablo and Stell, made their debut in 2018.
