Vice Ganda brought his family to tears after surprising them with a brand-new house.
In his most recent vlog, the comedian-host told his family members that he would just be taking them to a dinner to celebrate his older sister Tina’s birthday.
Vice’s family was clueless of the big surprise until he brought and welcomed them to their new house.
“Nanay, ate,” said Vice Ganda as he led them to the living room with letter balloons that spelled out, “Welcome to your new home, Viceral family.”
Vice’s mother Nanay Rosario, Tina and his niece Camille were in complete shock over Vice Ganda’s “big reveal”, repeatedly asking if it was just a prank.
“Yan ka na naman anak pina-prank mo ata ako,” Nanay Rosario told Vice Ganda.
They then proceeded to tour the three-level house, which included seven rooms and a swimming pool.
“Sobrang happy po, nakaka-overwhelm. Thank you tito Vice kasi simula dati hanggang ngayon, we’re living a comfortable life and mas ginagawa pa niyang komportable ang buong family namin,” said Camille over Vice Ganda’s surprise.
Nanay Rosario, on the other hand, became emotional and speechless when asked by Vice if she was happy with the surprise.
“Wala ka namang dapat sabihin. Just be happy. You deserve this,” Vice Ganda told his mom.
Vice said he decided to give his family a new home for a “fresh start” amid the uncertainties brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Kasi na-realize ko ngayon ang uncertain ng life. Tapos meron na rin akong fear na, ‘Oh my God, ako kaya, kailan ako babawiin? Sino pa kaya ‘yung mas malalapit pa na mawawala?’ Kaya bago pa mangyari ‘yun, sabi ko hangga’t kaya kong magbigay ng masayang memory o magandang regalo sa kanila, gagawin ko na. Hindi ko alam kung nandoon pa ako bukas, next month, o next year.
“Gusto ko maramdaman ng family ko, ma-experience nila ‘yung sarap hangga’t nabubuhay ako, hangga’t nabubuhay sila. Gusto kong maramdaman namin lahat ‘yung masarap, ‘yung masaya, ‘yung maganda,” added Vice Ganda.
