Producer Joed Serrano has spoken up amid speculations that tickets for Toni Gonzaga’s 20th anniversary concert have been selling poorly.

In a statement released to the media, Joed said that 55% of the tickets have already been sold 55% as of Friday afternoon, January 13 and 20% goes to the sponsors who pledged their support for their endorser Toni Gonzaga.

“Mommy Pinty (Toni’s mom) paid 350 tickets for her friends, relatives and churchmates who ordered from her. Me as one of the producers also reserved some 300 tickets for my friends who ordered from me instead of going to TicketNet,” stated Serrano.

“These tickets are paid. Wala ng libre sa panahon ngayon except pag kapamilya mo ang manonood. Iba ang concert sa pulitika at pelikula,” he added.

Serrano went on to share that 15% of the tickets are still available as of this date.

“You can still buy your tickets & get a chance to watch this very controversial concert,” he stated while addressing the criticisms.

“It’s a celebration of 20 years in showbusiness & the birthday of our dearest Toni Gonzaga. Let us all unite & be positive in life. Move on & be kind to all. Let us all give ourselves a chance to be good in this world.

“Smile, wag nega sa buhay. Kung wala kang sasabihing di maganda sa kapwa mo , then might as well be quiet kesa magkasala ka pa at mastress.

Serrano’s statement came amid claims that Mommy Pinty bought 500 tickets to her daughter’s show due to lack of ticket sales.

Toni first announced her anniversary concert last November, sharing her excitement over celebrating her 20 years in the showbiz on her 39th birthday.

The show, dubbed “I Am Toni”, will be held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Friday, January 20.
