Viy Cortez and Cong TV of Team Payaman are engaged to be married!
Viy Cortez has just announced her engagement to longtime boyfriend Cong TV or Lincoln Cortez Vasquez in real life.
The vlogger-entrepreneur shared the happy news with a photo of her and Cong sharing a kiss while her left hand showed the engagement ring.
“Yes love!? Una palang alam ko na ikaw ang magiging asawa ko,” Viy wrote as caption.
Viy and Cong, who have been together for seven years, recently had their son Baby Kidlat baptized.
Cong popped the big question to Viy at the reception of Baby Kidlat’s baptism last October 27 which was also the former’s 31st birthday.
Cong took the cue to propose to Viy from his brother-in-law Boss Keng, who asked family members and guests to put their camera phones on selfie video mode for a “game”.
“Love, will you marry me?” Cong asked as he walked towards Viy.
The YouTuber’s gesture took everyone by surprise as seen from the guests’ raw reactions, which were captured for Cong’s latest vlog.
“Nagtatanong ka sa akin nung nakaraan kung ano yung regalo na gusto ko. Sabi ko sa’yo, wala. Pero sa totoo lang ito talaga yung nasa isip ko matagal na panahon na. Naghahanap lang ako ng tiyempo, iniisip ko kung paano pero sabi ko bahala na,” Cong told Viy in the vlog.
He added, “Ito yung pinaka magandang regalong ibibigay mo sa akin ngayong birthday ko. Love, uulitin ko yung tanong. Will you marry me?”
