Ateneo Women’s Basketball team guard Trina Guytinco and actor Joshua Garcia have subtly refuted rumors about them being a couple.
The two recently sparked romance rumors after being spotted getting cozy at the Palawan trip with celebrity friends Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla, Ria Atyade, Yuns Azarcon, Alora Sasam and Zanjoe Marudo.
The online community was also set abuzz after Joshua shared several snaps of Trina via Instagram stories which the latter reposted on her account.
Netizens were quick to speculate the real score between the two.
A week after, the two had a fun exchange on Instagram as Trina shared solo photos of herself from the Palawan trip which appeared to be photographed by Joshua.
“Nice shot”, wrote Joshua.
Tagging Joshua, Trina responded, “Thanks rumored boyfriend,” alongside laughing emojis.
Joshua replied back saying, “You’re welcome”, with laughing emoji, likewise.
This isn’t the first time Joshua got caught in dating rumors with his close friends. Last March 23, Joshua played along with the romance speculations between him and Ria, calling the actress his “rumored girlfriend”.
