It took four long years for Herlene Budol, a.k.a, Sexy Hipon, to get her birthday greeting request from Kapuso actor Jak Roberto.
Herlene recently revealed in a Facebook post how much she used to admire Jak before that she tried reaching out to the actor via direct message (DM) on Instagram, hoping to receive a message from him on her 18th birthday.
“Alam nyo ba na si Jak Roberto ang crush ko dati haha wala share ko lang kaya ate Barbie (Forteza) peram muna haha,” quipped Herlene in her post showing screenshots of messages she sent him way back in 2017.
The former TV host also attached a screenshot of Jak finally replying to her message days after she celebrated her 22nd birthday last August.
The Kapuso star also granted Herlene’s years-long request.
“KAYA IKAW WAG KA MAWALAN NG PAG AASA NANINIWALA NAKO SA PM IS THE KEY HAHA ?
“After 4yrs nabati din ako,” Herlene said jokingly.
Herlene ended her Facebook post gushing over her and Jak starring together in an upcoming episode of Dear Uge.
“Crush ko noon, ka-eksena ko na ngayon. Small world,” said Herlene.
