Neri Miranda offered to take care of the wedding reception of a newlywed couple in Cebu who got scammed by their wedding coordinator.

A video of a bride crying upon learning no event was booked at their supposed reception venue earlier went viral.

The couple reportedly paid P65,000 for the wedding package to a certain Naser Fuentes.

Feeling sorry for the couple, Neri took to her Facebook account to comfort the couple by offering to host their reception at their Korean restaurant in Cebu.

“Kami na bahala sa reception niya. Malapit lang naman ang Jeju Samgyupsal  sa lugar nila. Dun na natin ganapin ang reception nyo. Since mahigpit po ang dine in pa rin, mga 20 pax po ang kakasya sa Jeju Samgyupsal Resto po namin sa Cebu,” said Neri.

Neri also said they will provide cake, emcee, cash for the couple and gifts for the bride.

A good friend of Neri also offered to give cash for the newlyweds as well as tokens for the guests.

“Wala kayong gagastusin mag-asawa. Kami na bahala. May pa-pocket money kami sa inyo kahit papaano. Wag ka nang umiyak. Kami na bahala sa inyo,” Neri reassured the couple.

According to a Cebu Daily News report, several people have since offered free wedding services to the scammed couple but they have decided not to accept anything yet until they’re able to settle the problem with their coordinator.
