Kiray Celis’ mom received this grand gift from her actress daughter on her special day.
The Former Goin’ Bulilit shared on Monday a vlog documenting the moment she surprised her mom with a P1 million cash for her 58th birthday.
Kiray first teased her mom by making her choose between P20,000 cash and a mystery box. Her mom chose the mystery box which contained a motorcycle helmet.
When she tried out the helmet, she was surprised to find out it was heavy — with cash!
Kiray said she gave the said amount of money as promised for their new business venture.
“Ito na yung ipinangako…isang milyon para sa ‘yo, mama,” Kiray told her mom in the video.
Kiray’s mom, on the other hand, turned emotional as she thanked her daughter for being the family’s breadwinner.
“Pinag-ipunan ko ‘to kasi ito ‘yung gusto kong ibigay sa kanya, kasi ipapagawa niya ‘yung bago naming bahay kasi meron akong biniling lote sa kanya nung nakaraan tapos ito na ‘yung pampagawa ng bagong bahay,” Kiray explained.
In an Instagram post, Kiray mused about surprising and giving back to her mom with what she deserves.
“Kulang pa yan sa pagmamahal, pagaalaga at pagaasikaso mo sakin.. akala ko [J]une ko pa mabibigay sayo. Pero nabuo ko na ng maaga. Worth it lahat ng pagod at paos ko sa lahat ng trabaho ko.
“Maliit man o malaki, basta galing sa puso ang tulong mo.. naappreciate yan ng mga magulang niyo. Mabuhay lahat ng bread winner na anak sa mundo!,” said Kiray.
This is not the first time Kiray had a splendid treat for her parents. On her mom’s 56th and 57th birthday, Kiray gave her a money cake with P56,000 and P57,000 cash in it. Kiray also surprised her father with P62,000 and P63,000 cash on his 62nd and 63rd birthday.
