The power of manifesting?
Netizens have unearthed an old tweet of Issa Pressman showing a photo of her with James Reid nine years ago.
Issa and James have been a hot topic online after going Instagram official on Thursday with their cozy snaps from the recently-concluded Love On Tour concert of Harry Styles at the Philippine Arena.
This, however, garnered criticisms from netizens, especially JaDine fans, as cheating allegations against Issa during James and former reel and real partner Nadine Lustre’s breakup in 2020 resurfaced.
James earlier came to the defense of Issa, saying the “past rumors are just rumors”.
Following their supposed relationship reveal, netizens dug up a tweet of Issa way back 2014, gushing over her photo with James.
“James Reid (heart eyes emoji) heehee,” read the caption on Issa’s old tweet.
Netizens have since quoted tweet the said post with their reactions, with some deeming that Issa “manifested” her way into being together with the actor-singer.
“Dapat pala caption yung name, tapos with tsaka heehee para pala makuha e,” said a Twitter user.
“Is this the new cutie,” a netizen said referring to Maine Mendoza’s manifestation on having Arjo Atayde as her boyfriend.
“So this is how u manifest,” said another.
One also commented, “ 9 years din yun ah congrats ante”.
James and Nadine announced their breakup in early 2020, citing at the time that they were both looking for “personal growth”.
Three years after their breakup, James said he’s on the start of something beautiful” with Issa and that he’s the “happiest I’ve ever been”.
Nadine, meanwhile, is in a relationship with French businessman Christophe Bariou.
