Dennis Padilla made sure to be the first one to greet his daughter Julia Barretto on her birthday.
Two days before Julia’s birthday on March 10, the comedian-actor took to Instagram to share a handwritten note for his estranged daughter’s special day.
“Dearest Juy, Happy 26th B-day! Praying for more blessings! Hoping to see you soon. I love you,” read Dennis’ letter, which had balloon drawings on paper heart cutouts.
Dennis snapped the letter alongside a throwback pic of her and Julia together.
On Julia’s actual birthday, Dennis shared a baby pic of her daughter, which he said has been in his wallet since she was born.
“A picture in my wallet for 26 years and counting… Hope to see you soon.. Happy birthday anak!! Love you,” said Dennis.
The celebrity dad, who’s been reaching out to his estranged children online, has children has yet to make amends with his and ex-wife Marjorie Barretto’s kids Julia, Claudia, and Leon.
Julia admitted in an interview last year that she’s on speaking terms with her dad, saying that she’s open but not ready to forgive him.
The actress is currently on a romantic vacation with her beau Gerald Anderson in France.
Leon, on the other hand,previously stepped up to “protect my sisters” after their dad called them out online for forgetting to greet him on Father’s Day.
