Barbie Forteza immediately thought of Joshua Garcia as the Kapamilya star she wants to work with in a romance series.
Now that a collaboration TV series between GMA and ABS-CBN is underway, the Kapuso actress was asked who she wants to be paired with should she star in a love story series with a Kapamilya actor.
“Joshua Garcia. Napanood ko po siya sa Vince, Kath & James. Pinanood ko po siya sa sinehan, magaling (siya),” Barbie said in an interview with Karen Davila.
Joshua is currently filming with Barbie’s fellow Kapuso stars Gabbi Garcia and Richard Yap for Unbreak My Heart, the first-ever series co-produced by GMA and ABS-CBN.
Following the success of Maria Clara at Ibarra, as well as her unexpected team-up with co-star David Licauco, Barbie said she wants to take on an edgy role and try the thriller genre on the big screen for her next project.
“Gusto ko po sana yung medyo edgy, hindi ‘yung masyadong predictable ‘yung concept. Gusto kong maka-try ng thriller.. Masaya naman pong gawing ang mga love story, rom-com, pero napapanood kasi na siya sa teleserye so why not kung magbabayad lang din ang mga tao, let’s try something different,” she said.
