Kris Aquino revealed the real score between her and Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste amid speculations of them being romantically linked.
The two have sparked dating rumors after Mark flew to the United States, where Kris has been receiving medical treatment for her autoimmune diseases, to celebrate Valentine’s Day, as well as Kris’ birthday on Tuesday, February 14.
“Made it just in time for your birthday and Valentine’s Day. It may have taken more than 7k miles to be with you, but I wouldn’t have it any other way,” Mark wrote as caption in their selfie pic together.
“Although we have been apart, now that we’re together fills my heart. Happy Birthday to you and Happy Valentine’s Day to us!,” he added on his social media post on Wednesday.
Kris earlier shared an image with the quote: “Distance is just a test to see how far love can travel, as she expressed gratitude to her support system including a ‘very determined man of your word who flew 13 hours each way to spend a few days with me on my birthday”.
Mark later shared a video of him reuniting with the Queen of all Media and captioned it with the same quote Kris had shared.
While netizens filled the comments section with romance speculations, Kris took to the comments section to urge Mark to make some clarification about their relationship status.
“May we clarify- together physically in the same place… I appreciate all your effort (through the years) BUT please clarify that we agreed the best foundation for any & all relationships is FRIENDSHIP,” wrote Kris.
“I know I state with 100% accuracy, you’re my best male friend,” she added.
Mark last visited Kris in California in January to spend time with the actress and her sons Bimby and Josh on New Year’s Day.
