Breakout loveteam David Licauco and Barbie Forteza brought kilig vibes to FiLay stans after answering hypothetical questions about dating each other.
The Maria Clara at Ibarra stars recenty guested on Fast Talk With Boy Abunda’ where David was asked if he’d court Barbie if she were single.
Barbie is in a relationship with fellow Kapuso actor Jak Roberto who’s her boyfriend of five years now.
“Tito Boy, I like smart, mga go-getter na babae…cute girls, simple lang so…,” David stalled, but eventually admitted that Barbie has the same qualities.
Barbie chipped in, “Hindi niya sinagot kung yes or no” prompting the actor to respond “Yes, yes (liligawan).”
David also reiterated in the interview that he’s currently not in a relationship.
Barbie, on the other hand, was asked if she was open to dating David.
“Siguro kapag nakilala ko pa siya deeper. Kapag naging close siya sa family ko and all. Basta yung malaman ko kung paano siya manligaw, maybe I’ll have my answer then.
“But now, we’re really good friends,” she added.
Barbie and David, who play Klay and Fidel in the series, or “FiLay” tandem as fondly called by fans, also exchanged messages in the show.
Barbie to David: “What I like most about you, hindi ka nagbago.You’re still the same David na nakilala ko.Kahit sikat na sikat ka na ngayon, sobrang humble mo pa rin.”
David to Barbie: “Keep chasing your dreams, saka maging grounded ka lang. I mean, alam ko naman na grounded ka, galingan mo pa.Nandito lang ako para sa iyo.”
The onscreen breakout loveteam also sent their fans into a frenzy when David uploaded a sweet TikTok video of them together.
