South Korean actor Lee Seung Gi is getting married to actress girlfriend Lee Da In.
Through a handwritten letter on Instagram on Tuesday, Seung Gi announced the happy news to his fans and supporters.
“Today, I am relaying the most important decision of my life. I have decided to spend the remainder of my life with Lee Da In, whom I love, not just as a couple but as a married couple,” Seung Gi wrote as translated to English in a Soompi report.
Seung Gi related getting Da In’s sweet “yes”, revealing that their wedding will be held on April 7 this year.
“She is someone with a lot of warmth and love, and she is someone I want to keep by my side forever,” Seung Gi said of his wife-to-be.
He added, “I want to share our happiness together, and even if there are difficult times in life, I want to overcome those difficulties together without letting go of each other’s hands.
“I hope you will show support for our future ahead, and we will live happily while continuing to give back to others. Thank you.”
Seung Gi and Da In went public with their relationship in May 2021.
Rumors about the two going their separate ways sparked in the middle of 2022, but Seung Gi personally denied such speculations.
Seung Gi is known for his roles in “My Girlfriend is a Gumiho”, “Vagabond”, and “Law Cafe”, among others.
Da In, on the other hand, appearedin the series “Alice”, “Hwarang”, and “My Golden Life”.
