After three years of trying, Benj Manalo and Lovely Abella are finally expecting their first baby together!
The couple were over the moon as they shared the happy news of their “miracle baby” on their respective Instagram accounts.
Lovely shared a video showing her and Benj’s emotional reaction upon learning the pregnancy test’s positive result.
“In GOD’s Perfect TIME! MIRACLE HAPPENS! Grabe para akong himatayin ng oras na to, di ako makapaniwala bago ko ibigay sa asawa ko @benj. Napakagandang blessing sa unang buwan ng 2023!,” Lovely captioned the video.
The actress-entrepreneur shared how she feared almost not bearing a child due to her age and Benj’s low sperm count, after three years of trying to get pregnant with her husband.
But with their faith in God, Lovely said they were blessed with another gift of life 15 years after she welcomed her first child from a previous relationship.
Lovely, who’s pregnancy food cravings is turon with ketchup, is currently more than five weeks pregnant.
Benj, meanwhile, said their child-to-be is their “best wedding anniversary gift”. The couple tied the knot on January 23, 2021.
The comedian opened up that he’s been battling his low sperm count condition for months now “pero lagi ko kinakausap si Lord”.
“Sabi ko, ‘Lord alam ko hindi ko na kailngan mag pa freeze para lang makabuo kami. Hindi ko kailngan uminom ng gamot para makabuo kami. Lord alam ko kapag hiniling ko sayo ibibigay mo siya samin in YOUR PERFECT TIME’.
“Yes we are very happy kasi may sobrang gandang gift si Lord samin, posting this kahit na napaka private kong tao lalo na sa relationship namin ng asawa ko kasi I want you guys to know that the Lord is keeping His promises. Grabe siya gumalaw. Trust in Him with all your heart.
“This time, we will cherish every moment sa new chapter ng buhay namin. Ang anak namin si Crisha and si Nathan mag kakakapatid na after how many years and were so blessed to have God beside us,” Benj added, referring to his and Lovely’s respective son and daughter from their previous partners.
