Christophe Bariou had this proud boyfriend moment after Nadine Lustre was hailed Best Actress at this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival.

Nadine’s French beau took to Instagram to share a photo of the actress holding the coveted award for her role in the techno-horror film Deleter.

“Never doubted her,” Christophe said in a now-expired Instagram story.

In her acceptance speech at the Gabi ng Parangal, Nadine dedicated her win to her family, Christophe, supportive friends, her management label Viva, and the whole team of Deleter.

“Sobrang saya namin. Hindi talaga namin in-expect yan. Masayang masaya kaming lahat na nagbabalik na ang mga pelikulang Pilipino sa sinehan. Mabuhay ang MMFF at mabuhay ang pelikulang Plipino,” said Nadine.

Deleter, helmed by filmmaker Mikhail Red, also bagged home six other awards including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Visual Effects, Best Editing, Best Cinematography, and Best Sound.

Nadine also won Star of the Night during the awarding ceremony held at the New Frontier Theatein Quezon City last December 27.

Nadine’s father Ulysses Lustre, meanwhile, also took to Facebook to congratulate his daughter on her new accolade.

“Congratulations Ate! With real talent, hardwork and determination, you have proven that ‘Love Teams’ can be…Deleted,” he wrote on Facebook.
