Is Andi Eigenmann alluding to her mom Jaclyn Jose in a video she reposted about being raised by a narcissistic parent?
On Thursday, Andi shared via Instagram stories Instagram reel by a holistic psychologist, which touched on the topic of having a narcissistic parent.
In the said video, a narcissistic parent is described as a “very emotionally immature” person, having two personalities: “One at home, where I’m opinionated, critical, and harsh and one in public I’m kind and warm.”
This comes days after Jaclyn revealed in comment to a netizen that Andi did not greet her on her birthday last October 21.
A now-deleted comment of the veteran actress also mentioned that Andi’s fiance Philmar Alipayo did the same.
“Philmar din di bumati. You are the father of my grandchildren. Ok lang, no big [deal] pero? ‘Di ba?” wrote Jaclyn.
In an Instagram post, she thanked her youngest child Gwen for celebrating birthday with her, and her grandchild Ellie, Andi’s daughter for greeting her through a video call.
Meanwhile, netizens have speculated on whether the mother and daughter are once again going through some misunderstandings. Fans also noticed that the two have unfollowed each other on Instagram.
Jaclyn previously aired her admiration over Andi’s way of parenting in an Instagram post in March 2021.
“Anak hinahangaan kita sa kung meron ka [na] buhay ngayon…napakatapang mo sana ako din. Ang ganda ng pagpapalaki mo sa mga bata sorry sa lahat [ng] pagkukulang ko. Mahal na mahal kita at support ko lahat ng ginagawa mo…mag-ingat palagi,” said Jaclyn.
