Sandro Marcos has reacted to the photo of him and rumored girlfriend Alexa Miro spending time together at the Formula 1 Grand Pix in Singapore which recently made rounds online.
The Ilocos Norte Representative and Presidential Son once again denied being in a romantic relationship with the actress-host, as seen in a TikTok video of him getting interviewed.
Sandro also dismissed speculations that he accompanied his dad, President Bongbong Marcos, during the trip, saying it was his group of friends whom he went with.
“Hindi ko sinamahan ang tatay ko. May sarili akong lakad… About twelve of us, ako at ang mga kaibigan ko… Matagal na naming pinlano ‘yan. Matagal na naming binook ‘yan.’”
The neophyte lawmaker continued to explain the story behind his viral photo with Alexa having a good time together at the said international racing event.
“I was in big group of people, nung kami po ay umiikot may lumapit sa amin and may kinukuha kaming I think something to drink or whatever.
“May lumapit sa amin and they said na picturan ko kayo pero you have to ‘cheers’ and look happy. So ‘yung gumaganon kami (cheers) staged ‘yun,” shared Sandro.
He furthered that he had no idea that it was going to be uploaded on Singapore Grand Pix’s official website.
“Pero ang hindi ko alam ay lalabas yan sa F1 website, ‘yan ang hindi ko alam.
“Akala ko parang amateur photographer lang na umikot, na (who) was taking pictures na tinanong sa akin, ‘Oh can you please do this,’” he said.
“Eh nung lumabas eh ang daming nag-assume. No. 1, that I was with my dad… No. 2 na si Alexa, girlfriend ko which is not, she’s a friend of mine and kasama yan sa barkada ko,” he added.
Sandro reiterated, “Magkaibigan talaga kami ever since.”
He went on to say how he’s thankful for being at the event as they were invited by the racing event’s organizer whom they have been longtime friends with.
“Libre lahat, so well medyo swerte ako,” said Sandro.
Meanwhile, Alexa had previously debunked romance rumors with Sandro in previous interviews, stressing that she’s just “super close” to the latter.
