Julia Barretto finally put an end to speculations that she and boyfriend Gerald Anderson have called it quits.
Amid rumors that Julia and Gerald broke up, the actress was recently spotted celebrating her beau’s mother Vangie Opsima’s birthday.
As seen on photos reposted on the actor’s Instagram fanpage, Gerald held a birthday dinner for his mom, in the company of Julia and friends.
A clip also showed Gerald holding out a cake and bouquet to his mom, while their company and Julia, who was seated beside the latter, sang the celebrant a “happy birthday”.
The couple also recently attended the third birthday celebration of Julia’s niece Millie.
While these sightings are proof that all is well between Julia and Gerald, the actress dismissed breakup speculations in an interview with broadcast journalist Karen Davila.
“We haven’t broken up and I think that’s a sign na we’re really able to protect our relationship and keep it private.
She added, ”I do feel very secure in the relationship we have, and I’m really happy so I don’t have anything to worry about.”
Gerald has been romantically linked to Kylie Padilla who’s her leading lady in upcoming film Unravel, but the actress has earlier debunked the said speculations.
