Social media personality Xander Ford, formerly known as Marlou Arizala, expressed mixed emotions now that he’s expecting a child with his girlfriend.

On Friday, he took to Instagram to share his thoughts on becoming a first-time dad.

“This is my first time experience hindi ko alam paano ako mag-uumpisa pero alam ko masaya ako kasi ito na sya ilang months na lang malalaman nanamin ang [gender] nya,” Xander wrote in the caption alongside a photo of a positive pregnancy result and ultrasound of his baby.

“ Ngayon]  pangalan nalang ang pag iisipan namin. Excited na po ako,” he added.

Xander also recently took to Facebook to share photos of him with his girlfriend Gena Magno who is now six months pregnant.

In a Facebook post, Gena admittedly shared that people might have a say on her and Xander becoming young parents, but stressed that they would not let it hinder them from reaching their goals in life.

Gena also pleaded with netizens to spare their baby from the bashing.

Meanwhile, Xander also received comments from some netizens about “changing” his ways after previously courting several controversies for his alleged misbehavior.

“At sana paglabas nyan magbago ka na? congrats!, said another.

Xander first hinted on his fatherhood journey last August. “Thank you Lord for his Angel,” he said.
