KC Concepcion has put the record straight about her relationship with Black Eyed Peas member Apl.de.ap.
The actress, who recently wrapped up filming for Hollywood movie Asian Persuasion, debunked her and the Fil-American rapper-singer’s years-long dating rumors.
“Hindi, hindi [naging kami]. Very close kami, I love the guy. I respect him, I admire him. Pinapatawa niya ako nang sobra, mabait siya sa akin,” KC was quoted as saying in an interview with ABS-CBN.
‘Hindi naman, he’s very busy with work as well. Whatever will be, will be. No, hindi kami,” KC said about her good friend Apl whose real name is Allan Pineda Lindo.
KC and Apl have been caught in dating rumors after several sightings of them together, and some social media posts about each other.
The daughter of Megastar Sharon Cuneta also related her dating experiences in the United States.
“Dito sa States, ang hirap mag-date. Minsan akala mo serious, ‘yun pala casual lang pala. I’m in my 30s. I’m not going to lie, I definitely take relationships more seriously now.
KC admitted that she hopes to get married someday, “kasi kinasal na ‘yung sister ko sa Sweden. My gosh, naunahan pa ako!,” she gushed about her half-sister Cloie Skarne who tied the knot with her partner last July.
Directed by Jhett Tolentino, KC will star alongside Filipino-American actor Dante Basco in Hollywood Persuasion which is expected to premiere in January next year.
“Nakakatawa yung pelikula, it’s about two people na nagdivorce and ayaw magbayad nung lalake. So naghahanap siya ng way na takasan yung babayaran niyang alemony. Ako yung asawa niya,” KC shared about her role in the film.
