Amid rumors of him dating Nancy McDonie of K-pop girl group Momoland, James Reid said that he’s open to having a new relationship.
James, who recently flew back to the Philippines, attended the Preview Ball 2022 where he was awarded one of this year’s Most Influential Artists.
In a report by Pep, the actor-singer opted to keep mum about the video of him getting cozy with Nancy at a party together, which recently made rounds online.
“No comment. She’s a very kind person. But, yeah, no comment,” James was quoted as saying.
Back in May, James opened up about why he’s enjoying being not in a relationship in the meantime.
“I’ve been trying to stay single for as long as possible just because there’s a lot I’m trying to do right now,” said the Careless Music label founder.
“I just got out of a four-year relationship so I’m just trying to do me, be happy me doing me for a while,” added James who last dated former reel and real partner Nadine Lustre.
James, however, appeared to have changed his tone as he said that he was being open to dating again.
“I would like to think so. Actually, this album that I’ve been making has been kind of therapeutic,” James said referring to his upcoming album.
“Ready for a relationship? Yeah, I think I am,” he added in an interview with Pep.
