Rita Daniela is not keen on revealing the father of her child to the public.
Days after announcing her pregnancy, the Kapuso singer-actress told 24 Oras reporter Nelson Canlas that she wants her non-showbiz boyfriend and their relationship to be away from the spotlight.
“It’s my decision not to share anything about us or about him to anybody because he’s not a showbiz personality. He’s a private person and our relationship has always been private,” said Rita.

She also revealed why it took her some time to open up about her pregnancy.
“(There are) some things in life na ikaw lang muna, trine-treasure mo ‘yung blessing na ‘yun na ikaw lang, na ninanamnam mo ‘yung good news,” said Rita.
She also became emotional when she shared that she sees her unexpected pregnancy as a huge blessing and a source of self-worth.
“Am I enough? Was I good? Was I great? That has always been my struggle but this blessing reminded me na I won’t feel that anymore. Because I will have someone that whatever I do, I may fail or not, but that someone will see me and he or she will love me with all this heart,” said Rita.
The 26-year-old singer made the pregnancy reveal during the GMA musical-variety show All-Out Sundays last June 26.
She later took to Instagram to share photos of her holding her belly alongside a photo of her baby’s sonogram.
