Two months after the controversial mauling incident at a hotel, Ana Jalandoni said she has forgiven her ex-boyfriend Kit Thompson.
“Opo, napatawad ko na siya,” Ana was quoted as saying in a tweet by ABS-CBN entertainment reporter MJ Felipe.
The sexy actress said she has learned to let go of what happened between her and the actor, saying holding grudges won’t do her any good.
“Wala naman po akong galit. Ni-let go, and let God ko na po ‘yun. Gusto ko na rin po mag-start para sa sarili ko. Hindi rin po makakatulong sa ‘kin kung may galit ako sa puso ko. Alam ko po may mapupuntahan na maayos ang lahat,” said Ana in an ABS-CBN report.
Ana added that the decision to forgive is part of her moving-on process.
“I learned kasi to choose na magpatawad kasi ‘yun naman ‘yung tamang paraan para maka-move on, para maumpisahan ‘yung bagong buhay na gusto ko,” she said.
She, however, will proceed with the filing of charges against Kit through her legal team.
In a previous press interview in March, Ana admitted to getting deeply hurt by Kit’s actions.
“(Hindi ko akalin) na nagawa sa akin to ng mahal ko. Wala pong babae na gustong masaktan (katulad ng) dinanas ko. Marami po akong dinaanan sa buhay… hirap yung isip ko. Hirap yung puso ko. Nasaktan po ako ng lubusan,” said Ana.
